The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) announced that effective with the 2010-2011 academic year, the pitching distance for high school varsity pitchers will increase from 40 feet to 43 feet.
Congratulations to UCLA! 2010 NCAA Division I Softball National Champions. The Bruins defeated the University of Arizona, 15-9, to capture the national championship.
Congratulations to Hawaii Pacific! 2010 NCAA Division II Softball National Champions. The Sea Warriors defeated Valdosta State, 4-3, to capture the national championship.
Congratulations to East Texas Baptist! 2010 NCAA Division III Softball National Champions. The Tigers defeated Linfield ,5-4, to capture the national championship.
